2026. gada 15. janvārī Rīgas Purvciema vidusskolā notika skolēnu konference, kas bija veltīta Dena Brauna romānam "Da Vinči kods". Pasākums notika 3.–5. stundas laikā (plkst. 10.00–12.50) un pulcēja 12. klases skolēnus un skolotājus iedvesmojošam un pārdomu rosinošam rītam.

Konference tika atklāta aktu zālē, kur vadītāji iepazīstināja ar programmu un paziņoja par prezentāciju telpām un dalībniekiem. 65 skolēni prezentēja savus projektus, pētot romānu no plaša perspektīvu klāsta.

Prezentācijas bija organizētas tematiskās telpās, ļaujot skolēniem koncentrēties uz saistītām tēmām, piemēram, tēlu attīstību, simboliku, vēsturisko precizitāti, ticību un autoritāti, sazvērestības teorijām, kā arī romāna ietekmi uz kultūru un kinematogrāfisko pasauli.

Neskatoties uz dažām tehniskām problēmām, visas prezentācijas tika veiksmīgi novadītas, apliecinot skolēnu pārliecību un centību. Vairāki dalībnieki tika nominēti un apbalvoti par izciliem pētījumiem un romāna analīzi. Visas konferences laikā tika apspriestas galvenās idejas no prezentācijām, izceļot skolēnu izpratnes dziļumu un radošo pieeju literatūrai.

Pasākums noslēdzās ar visu dalībnieku atkārtotu pulcēšanos aktu zālē. Konference skaidri parādīja mūsu skolēnu analītiskās prasmes, radošumu un spēcīgo iesaistīšanos angļu literatūrā.

On January 15, 2026, Riga Purvciems Secondary School hosted the student conference dedicated to Dan Brown’s novel The Da Vinci Code. The event took place during Lessons 3–5 (10:00–12:50) and brought together 12th grade students and teachers for an inspiring and thought-provoking morning.

The conference opened in the main hall, where the hosts introduced the programme and announced the presentation rooms and participants. Around 65 students presented their projects, exploring the novel from a wide range of perspectives.

Presentations were organized into thematic rooms, allowing students to focus on related topics such as character development, symbolism, historical accuracy, faith and authority, conspiracy theories, and the novel’s cultural and cinematic impact.

Despite a few technical challenges, all presentations were delivered successfully, demonstrating students’ confidence and dedication. Several participants were nominated and awarded prizes for the outstanding research and insightful analysis. Throughout the conference, some key ideas from the presentations were discussed, highlighting the depth of students’ understanding and their creative approach to literature.

The event concluded with all participants gathering once again in the main hall. The conference clearly showcased our students’ analytical skills, creativity, and strong engagement with English literature.
